Intermittent Fasting Calculator

Hello and thank you for visiting my website. I didn’t realize but many people have been using my Intermittent Fasting Calculator for years and found it very helpful. If you are here and have used my IF calculator in the past, you know that as of January 12th, 2021, Flash Player is officially dead and my calculator no longer works. After reading some contact form emails, I discovered a workaround thanks to William H which allows you to run the Intermittent Fasting Calculator source file (SWF) locally on your computer. To get this to work, it’s pretty simple:

Step 1: Download Flash Player Content Debugger

The program you will be using to run the SWF file is called Flash Player content debugger. You can download it here from the official Adobe website for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux.
Download Flash Player Content Debugger

Step 2: Run Flash Player Content Debugger & Open SWF File

Once you have the Flash Player content debugger downloaded, run the program. Then, click ‘File’ in the menu bar and then select ‘Open’. This will give you a window that asks for a file location. Paste in this URL (https://www.andrewsaladino.com/IFCalc.swf) which is where the SWF file for the Intermittent Fasting Calculator is saved on my server. NOTE: You may want to download this SWF file locally so that you have a copy just in case something happens.

Step 3: That’s It!

Hopefully, this worked and you’re able to run the IF calc again. If you have any trouble with the above steps, reach out to me via the contact form and I may be able to help. I do not know how long this workaround will work but hopefully, it is a very long time. I wish everyone good luck on their fitness journies and that you crush any goals you set for 2021.

Best,
Andrew
